Daddy's Birthday

Wed. June 24th was Corey's big 27th birthday. On Wednesday we went to Cru Wine Bar then to Nichola's for dinner at the Shops of Legacy. It was so delicious, as always!
Thursday we met all 20 of our family members at Hooters in Mckinney for dinner and cake.
Then tonight, Friday, we had Grandpa Bud, Grandma Lee, Mimi & Papa over for Steaks and Corey's favorite cake, German Chocolate. Thanks Mimi!
Needless to say with Father's day and three nights of celebrating Corey's birthday he should feel pretty special! We love you so much Daddy...you mean the world to us!

What a great Daddy's Day

Today was Father's Day and I think it went wonderful. Cayman got daddy a pair of flip flops and a golf shirt, Nate got daddy some boxers and golf shirt and Mommy got him a digital rain gauge. I think he really liked it all. We woke and went to church this morning to a wonderful service. We then came home, took a few pics around the house, then went and spent the day at Barry and Melissa's house. We swam all day and ate WAAAAAY to much, which is normal at the Nelson's. Dang I wish they didn't cook so good sometimes!

Look how blonde this adorable boys hair is getting! I can't believe I have two blonde headed children. I'm sure it won't last but I sure love it.

I love to watch Daddy make them laugh...... They enjoy him so much.

8 1/2 months pregnant

Last big Hurrah!

Last weekend, June 14th, we took our last big camping trip before the baby gets here. Thankfully "it" decided to stay put. My doctor suggested if, for some reason, my water would have broken that I should go to Denton hospital due to how fast my labors are. She didn't think we would make it to Centennial since it was an hour and a half drive. That really freaked me out but we went anyways. I'm sure glad we did because we had a great trip. Mimi and Papa and the Lewis family (including new baby Tucker, 2 wks old) went to Lake Texoma and stayed at Thousand Trails. On Saturday we took the kids for a long boat ride then met up with Joe & Stef to play on a beach.

This is Cayman and Tanner looking at the pond that Trent & Em's fifth wheel was parked right next to.

The little ones, Tate & Nate, decided to join in the fun of looking at the swimming ducks.

Here's the kids riding the boat as we drive to the boat launch

Nate showin papa a sailboat ahead.

Professional daddy of now 3 showin us how it's done.

Tate Bug just couldn't keep those little eyes open for one more second. She is sitting straight up and soooooound asleep!

This is back at camp. Cayman & Tanner and just catchin some rays in the frog pool.

They are cute and the know it!!!!!!

mEmoRiAL dAy 2009

Memorial Day 09 we decided to have all our friends over for just a fun get together. Corey spent all night cooking brisket, ribs and sausage on his new smoker. It was truly the best brisket I've ever tasted...I sure hope he can duplicate that! All Cayman and Nate's friends had a wonderful time. We heated the pool because it still wasn't quite warm enough.
I wish I had of thought to take more pics. I guess I was having so much fun that I forgot, I'm usually the picture queen.

Cayman's first dance recital

Cayman and I started a Mommy and Me class last fall at Cindy's School of Dance. She has had sooo much fun with it. She's learned dance, ballet, hand-eye coordination, group work, and tumbling. I woul definitely recommend this class for all 2 yr old girls. Since April, the mom's have slowly worked out of the room in order for the precious little girls to perform their first recital. It was incredibly enjoyable. There weren't many actual dance moves but they attempted and no one freaked out so it was a hit. I just loved their pink tutu's.
Keira, on the left, is one of Cayman's friends that also goes to school with her. They were admiring eachothers outfits.

This is Cayman's first Dance certificate. She is the shortest one almost right in the middle. So stinkin'cute!!!!

The pictures didn't turn out so well because it was totally dark in there but she is the middle girl. They are performing Lemon Drops-N-Gum Drops

After the recital we wanted to treat Cayman to something even more fun for her accomplishment so we took her to Gatti Town. Of course, we had to start off with the train ride and momma and her "big, fat belly" (as cayman refers to it as now) was not even attempting getting in that thing! Daddy and Papa gladly jumped in. Cozy huh?

Already ready to DRIVE!

We must have played with these balls for 45 min. Cheap fun except for daddy's need to play over and over and over. :)

All kids love the carousel but I think they were severely dissappointed since we go to Stonebriar all the time. Absolutely no comparison!
Oh, and there I am at 8 months pregnant.
Nate is plastering his face to the glass to get as close to the trucks as possible.
What a great day. Great job Cayman, Mommy & Daddy are so proud of you.
