Cayman Turned 2!!!!!!

Like I promised, here are Cayman's birthday pics.  I probably have more coming as Aunt Stef has this amazing camera that takes ridiculously great pictures.  If I get time I will post them as well.  Thank you all for making Cayman's birthday so amazing.

This is the cake I made.  I had one ordered then Corey was so bummed that I wasn't making an annual homemade birthday cake.....talk about a guilt trip!  GEEEEZ!  I think it turned out alright.  It was a carrot cake with cream cheese icing.  It was pretty good.... I guess!

Cake TIME!!!!

Cortney & Nate....ladies man

Cayman's friend Georgia & her mom Angie

Nonni & Papaw

Look at face....is that trouble or what?!?

Aunt Jammi, Uncle Cody and their son Hayden...he actually was smiling 2 seconds before my camera snapped the pic.  Stupid cameras.

She got an enormous amount of presents so this took a LONG time!  I think she had a blast doing it though.  Makes me realize how fun Christmas will be this year.

Look at this DCC uniform!!! This will be perfect for Nate's first birthday which will be a Dallas Cowboys themed party since his bday falls right during football season.  She will def be showing her spirit at the party and games this year.  Thanks Aunt Stef....Which by the way is one of the newest members of the ACTUAL Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders!  I'm so proud you are one of my best friends!

This is the new jeep Corey and I got her.  It's the Barbie Jeep and even has AM/FM radio...which is def her favorite part

Even Nate likes it

Look at this chair Grama Barb & Grampa Willy got her...she absolutely loved it....or maybe because it was the closest possible thing to the CAKE!

They all colored a flip flop colored sheet to follow the whole shoe theme!

Courtney I think kiddos have taken you over....you fit right in though with that new skinny body of yours!

This was our first venture in the new Barbie Jeep.

I think she's going to need some practice.....

This is the other adorable outfit Aunt Stef and of course Uncle Joe helped pick out.  It is so stinkin precious!

Look at that arch in her foot....just like her momma!
Happy Birthday Cayman!!! Hope it was special for you!!!!!!
Love Mommy & Daddy....

New Family Hobby a.k.a RVing!!!!

I can't believe how long it's been already since my last posting....I'm not too great at keeping this updated but I'm trying!!!  We've been happily busy with our new RV.  We got it 6 weeks ago and we've been gone 5 of those weekends/weeks.  It's been absolutely perfect with the babies.  Cayman absolutely loves it and if Nate could talk I'm sure he'd say the same.
We picked the RV up in Austin from a steal of an Ebay buy (typical for us).  On our way home from purchasing it we stayed a night with Mark & Tonda (our previous Pastor & wife).  The following weekend we drove to Lubbock for 4 days to visit Corey's grandmother.  Her health is not doing so well so all the visits we can squeeze in with her are treasured.   The next weekend, 4th of July, we camped with the Lewis'....Cayman and Tanner had an absolute blast...the pictures prove it.  Mimi, Corey's mom,  saw how much fun we were having so they jumped on the RV bandwagon and purchased one.  On their way home from picking theirs up we all camped at Cedar Mills Resort on Lake Texoma again.  As if we hadn't had enough Corey got word that his work schedule was going to be very light so we used the opportunity to drive up to my grandparents lake house on Lake of the Ozarks, Missouri.  Mimi even got to go with us.  We stayed there Monday through Saturday and fortunately got to spend Cayman's 2nd birthday there.  It was great getting to share that moment with my grandparents since they live so far away and don't get to share birthdays with us every year.   That Saturday we packed the kids up early, early to make it home for Cayman's big birthday shoe party on Sunday.  I'll post some pics of the party as soon as I get another chance.  Enjoy the pics of our first several RV trips.  Love you all!

This was July 24th....Cayman's 2nd birthday!  We got to spend it in Lake of the Ozarks and we made it such a special day for her.  First we started with Mickey Waffles made especially by her Great Grampa Mert, then presents, we then played all day by the lake and then took a boat ride on the cruiser to the Horny Toad for dinner and birthday ice cream.  I think she had a fantastic birthday.  Having these little bundles of joy is truly the highlight of my life.  Life couldn't get any better!

Family Pics (June 7th)

June Pics

Cayman found mommy's jewelry box again...can you tell?
Give this girl shoes or jewelry and she's content!
Be scared Daddy....very scared!!!!

I love this face....

Miss Peyton came over to visit us
this day so mommy could go do some shopping! We had a great time at our play date.

The races are on!
They do this all day long and they are giggling the entire time.
It's unforgetable moments like these that make me want to have 20 of precious little ones.

Girls Night OUT!!!

Last weekend was the premier of Sex In the City... It was such a fun movie! We started the night at the Blue Goose then walked over to the Studio Movie Grill for dinner & a movie. There was a huge group of us that met. I'm guessing around 25 of us. We had such a great time.

Changing Churches....huh?

I have hesitated to make any mention of my current thoughts because they have purely been a scrambled mess. Nearly the only thoughts that have been through my brain in the last 10 weeks has been our church situation. Corey and I have been attending our hometown church for 14 years now and due to some rocking of the boat we felt led to visit other churches. The church we visited was also a local church and was truly was fantastic. The minute we walked in the doors we felt welcomed and loved. But the loss in our hearts became nearly unbearable. I volunteered at Vacation Bible School last week at our lifelong church and it really struck a nerve. Through lots of prayer we decided to revisit our church as a family this last Sunday. It was undescribable. I expected a few people to notice we were gone but nearly everyone we came into contact with specifically said "you simply can't leave". It was the exact constructive criticism I needed. I know God has great plans in store for us whether it be at our church since childhood or somewhere else. Wherever it might be I just pray God keeps His hand on our family.
